Dr. Regina Castro is amazing.! She helped me navigate hyperthyroidism and graves disease about 10 years ago. No one else could figure out what was wrong with me. She found it right away and successfully treated my issues. I have a lot of respect for this wonderful woman!

Cut out added sugar and refined carbs. Loose weight if needed. Move enough. No sugary drinks. Eat unprocessed foods and cut out fried foods. Add fibre to meals. Get enough sleep. Watch stress levels. You can only do your best if you still get diabetes don’t beat yourself up. Some remain prediabetic for years, Dr can decide about medication if needed.

You forgot to add exercise, for those that are able, ma'am, as this helps to utilise [utilize] glucose that's already present within the bloodstream.

Pre diabetes can absolutely be control by doing the keto diet. I’m a living prediabetic-diabetic person that chose KETO over metformin and colesterol busters and carbs, which IS what the culprit in diabetes. Two years and a half years, 65 yr old now in excellent health that went from a 7.2 A1C. To 4.9 and holding, shed 57 lbs as a side affect, BP is normal, even though I have a benign tumor on adrenals, I eat well, beef eggs, butter, greens, cheese, make bread with two carbs and high protein…..so I’m not missing a single thing expect diabetes’ diease and the drugs that actually promote the disease. Mayo Clinic pull nose out of….., do some real research and quit making people sick. Oh and I don’t appreciate your campaign to remove people from utube, and replace your videos of misinformation, who have given us information about how to properly implement keto and recipes to get us started ….for optimal health who have diabetes. Sincerely
