Amazing story. He really earned his success in more ways than actors today who only have one job.

I loved claude rains in The Invisible Man 1932 and Casablanca 1942, shame he started late but i understand the timing when he was born. A class act. And acted with some golden age of hollywood actors. I did not no about claude's eye being effected by gas during WW1. 90 percent of vision blurred completely. But as the class act he was he just kept on going giving us his best. RIP Mr Claude Rains. Genuis.

Great actor. Loved his films and his voice. I'm disappointed you did not give him credit for his role in Now Voyager.

I see the usual trolls are saying it’s not sad it’s life, well obviously they have not lost a loved one, if you have lost a loved one you certainly are sad and a lot of other strong emotions, to get back to Claude I think that the way he was admired by his fellow actors tells us all we need to know about his acting abilities, I know nothing about his personal life only what has been told here, so something must have been missing in his emotional life to marry so many times

The ONLY actor that Bette Davis was in awe of.

He had one failed marriage after another and eventually died as a result of his heavy drinking.

This series of videos is extremely stupid, they weren't all SAD endings. As someone said earlier, 'click bait'.
