I loved Gale Storm. I grew up watching "My Little Margie" and "Oh, Suzanna", but I loved her movies, too. I loved her most in the 1947 movie "It Happened on Fifth Avenue". It is one of my favorite Christmastime movies. She was absolutely beautiful. I'm so sorry that she struggled with alcohol. She gave so much pleasure to so many, and i hope that she got much more in return. Thank you for this video. I always wondered what happened to her.

As a child I fell in love with reruns of My Little Margie. Gale had such a bubbly persona, great comedic body moves and timing. Even the inflections in her voice were captivating, She and the man who played her father worked so well together as a team. NOT A SAD ENDING AT ALL. Hers was a life lived well in sobriety,

I’m 77 & loved watching “My Little Margie”. Gale Storm was great, as well as all if the characters, especially her dad, handsome Charles Farrell, & neighbor, Mrs. O’Day. She was also wonderful in “The Gale Storm Show”, “Oh Susannah!” with more wonderful characters. Also loved the movie “It Happened On 5th Avenue”. Glad she married twice & had 4 children, but sorry she lost both husbands so soon. She was really talented!🙏🏼😊💕

I watched My Little Margie many times over the years and enjoyed it. I also liked her Gale Storm Show. I ordered a copy of her book and was just going to write her and tell her how much I enjoyed her work, when I heard she had passed away.

Her singing is hypnotic... a tender voice that melts you.

I was surprised to learn that Storm was over 30 when she played Margie. I always thought she was in her early 20s (as her character was) at that time. She looked amazingly young!

She was a triple threat with a star for each radio, television and film! Sad?! She was a BOSS!

I loved watching "My little Margie"; It must have been reruns as it was on a non network channel. I had wondered for years what ever happened to her.

Why sad ending? She overcome alcoholism, was a very talented performer and lived to a good age!

She had many accomplishments to be proud of. Imagine starting at seventeen and being a beloved star into your eighties. She didn't have any major scandals. She was a hard working woman with three stars on the walk of fame. A role model for women then and today.

I loved Gale Storm as Margie in reruns as a kid because of her great comedic timing. Had forgotten all about her series with dizzy headed comic Zasu Pitts. Loved that one too. Time to look back at the second series on You Tube.

Gale Storm was the girl I was going to marry when I grew up. I cried when she died. Hope to meet her in the After Life.

She was my Godmother! We were there the day she fell and hurt her back.

At 75, I saw "My Little Margie" when it was a summer replacement for "I love Lucy"! In those days,
with no way to record shows or watch repeats, there was a saying then, i.e "If you missed it, you
missed it!" That's probably why "Lucy" or "Margie's" ratings were so high!/ p.s. My 'bunk mate' in
Army basic training (1964) told me that he was good friends with Gale Storm's oldest daughter
& even baked a cake in Gale Storm's oven! Little did I realize then that he would also become
famous! My "bunk mate" was director/actor Terry Gilliam later, of "Monty Python" fame & yes,
he was an American!

She was a big TV star in the 50's. I remember "My Little Margie". At the time, this 5 year old had a crush on her! LOL!
