I am 74 and clearly remember watching Bomba every Saturday. So many good shows back then.

Saturday mornings with Tarzan, Bomba and Jungle Jim. I fell in love with the idea of living in the jungle. When I was in the Navy a few years later I was stationed in the Philippines for a year and a half and realized my dream and loved it)

I remember watching Tarzan in the sixties but don't remember the other series he did. Very poor judgement to be on a ladder at almost 80 years old. Have a wonderful day Steve

I was born in the mid 1950s, and loved watching the Bomba movies. I still do!! Thx for all the interesting tidbits about Sheffield, which you peppered with a bit of humor (ie, your own self-deprecating comments). RIP Johnny.

“Little John” had nothing but good things to say about “Big John” Weissmuller. They remained friends until Big Johns death.

At 78, I remember seeing & enjoying the "Bomba" films, in the 1950's! I never met Johnny
Weismuller, but at age 5, in 1951, I did appear on t.v. with another "Tarzan", Buster Crabbe,
(shown in the final collective 'Tarzans' photo), on a short lived, daytime t.v. show! Johnny
Sheffield was the perfect choice for the role & should have had a longer career! R.I.P. Johnny!

When I was young I had the complete set of Bomba The Jungle Boy books. At 65 I have still never seen one of the films. I have seen all 3 of the Tarzan films with "Boy". He was a fine actor for his age.

I remember him. I read somewhere he disappeared and no one knew what happened to him. However, what I read was completely WRONG. Thank You, it is good to see he lived a long life.

Back in the 1960s the local TV station used run Jungle theater every Sunday where they alternated Tarzan, Bomba and Jungle Jim movies. When I was thirteen I got an autographed picture of Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan when he appeared at a mall opening best childhood memory.

Oh yes! Tarzan movies were my favorite and I just loved “Jane” and “boy”!! I wondered whatever happened to him!Thank you for making this video! We had Johnny come to our small town after I had became a teenager. I’ll never forget running downtown to see him in person and finding instead an OLD MAN instead of my handsome Tarzan! 😮That was quite a shock 😭😂😂😂😂😂
