I find it hard to believe that all I went through with this person that 1. They are not a narcissist and 2. That they will ever change. When they reached out 2 years ago they were even more devolved than when I talked with them at all. I hope for them one day they get the deep healing they need. I appreciate them staying away from me so that there is a limit to the amount of damage that continues to persist. (I still need to regularly reclaim my energy/power/cut cords and return to sender. ) At one point in time I had wished for a healed harmonious connection with this person, now all I long for is perpetual peace.

This is a very accurate reading. But this was happening almost 12 months ago. And with a narcissist in his 50s! Yes he manipulated me in a power play that I did not understand at the time. He hurt me but I learned so much from this encounter I now am more focussed on what I really want.
