This is beyond ridiculous. This word was not used in a derogatory way. Context matters

Last time I checked people with disabilities want to be treated just like everyone else. Now we have to remind them to be mad at a word that has many meanings.

OMG! This is ridiculous. The word is not meant to be offensive…it is a term used in our urban (esp. “hood”) communities to mean to go off (on someone). Stop thinking everyone is out to belittle a person or group. Honestly people come on, especially since you know she is not that type of person to purposely offend anyone.

Who the hell knew what "Spaz" meant? We've been using the word "Spaz"for years. Everyday, people come out with new reasons to be outraged.

This crap has to end!! SPAZ is a slang word that has been around for a long time! I am in my 60's and have used it through life so unless they copyright the word or will continue to use it. NOT to put down a disability but in the context it was used in growing up!! I am not a Beyonce fan just someone who is fed up!

There are over 1, 682 lyrics, 7 artists, and 3 albums matching SPAZ. So, why do they always try to check women of color?

I have spasms quite often along with hemiplegic migraines. I've also been writing songs, if spaz comes in handy, it will just be there. You can't control a persons body. She spazzed in a few movies and a few music videos, but people saying she can't say it is beyond wild. People been okay with two, too, and to for years though.

So there is an uproar about 'spaz' but not about the n word consistently used in all black music and all black conversation??? Whether or not the n word is spelled with an 'a' on the end it still means the same!

This whole thing doesn’t make no sense I’m sorry. I feel like their are so many songs out there that have way worse lyrics and people are trying to make nothing into something. This is why artiest are so hesitant to put music out because you literally need a lawyer now to make sure your words don’t offend anyone…..

That fact that Kanye West said it in 4-5 seconds with Rihanna and no one bitched then or now bout it, people just get bored and choose when to be offended these days🤣😅 it matters what context it's used in.
