Beyonce to change derogatory, ableist slur in song 'Heated' in new Renaissance album

Beyonce confirms she will change controversial lyrics in the song 'Heated' on her Renaissance album after facing backlash. The disabled community said it's an ableist slur. "The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced," a spokeswoman for Beyoncé wrote in a statement to The Associated Press on Monday.

Is it bad to be able? I would think most people would strive to be able. Can we relinquish the word power because people are systematically denied it? And what is wrong with being a spazz?
