All of these settings, except the intelligent Image Optimization, are on the Galaxy M34 5G as well. Not that the cameras are as good of quality, but most of the settings & this video's content should be applicable to the non-flagship Galaxy devices, too. Thanks for the info!

Wow, so good. Didn't know about the slider when locked in! Missed that one. Great feature. So much to know.

Taking photos is mostly not about tech specs but aesthetics and knowing what you do. Glad you mentionen 6:48. Everyone using real cams, i.e. 50mm lense corresponding to human eyes, is still annoyed with smartphone standard lense, being mostly about 24mm. To get the real experience of human eyes, i.e. standard focal length, you need smartphone 2x "tele". Surprisingly in entry level 2 lense phone, they're not equipped with 1x + 2x but 1x + 0, 5x which doesn't make sense at all from a photographer perspective. Take portrait mode. It's ridiculous to make protraits with a 24mm lense. Should best be about 80mm, which in smartphone terms means 3x tele, but unfortunately this is missing in most standard phones at all.

A perfect showcase of using phone's features to their fullest with practical examples. I could relate to all the tips having used most of them myself at some point or another, and I completely agree - these tips really elevate the quality and impact of the photos and videos. This video was great!

Great video, Daniel. One thing i love about Samsung OneUI is so many features cross generations in terms of functionality. Some may say it's "boring" but for the less technically minded, the sense of familiarity makes upgrading easier and for the more technical like us, it makes teaching the less technically minded, much easier.

I love my S23 Ultra and find the cameras amazing. Just curious though, do you think there's much in it between camera of the S23 Ultra vs S24 Ultra?

Is it just me or what, I find it quite inconvenient that the flash cannot turns on while I'm framing the shot. Like I wanted a light source, not a flash.

I'm not sure if other settings were the culprit but it seems to me that I've had a few problems with intelligent optimization, some enhancements were too exaggerated. I selected the minimal optimization and after taking the picture I can edit it manually, use the "enhance picture" option that appears when you swipe the picture up when viewing it in the gallery and/or use AI to make the changes and get a more appealing result. If the original picture is already heavily optimized and you do not like the result, new edits probably won't improve it. But I'm still learning about the many picture modes and options and I hope the bad results I had with intelligent optimization turned on were the result of me not knowing how to use the other image settings properly.

Hello. I think the photo suggestions feature is a very gimicky thing, because most of the time (if not always), it "suggests" the best shot is on the center of the screen. But then, we know that a good shot is not always setting the "object" of interest right smack in the center, just as you mention further regarding the rule of thirds... which, BTW, is only one guide for armonic compositions (the golden rule is another). I find it funny that you recommend enabling the photo suggestion feature, but your screen captures at the time you take photos show that you do not pay attention to the suggestion.

You should incorporate Samsung or galaxy naming into your channel name as you solely focus on Samsung devices just a recommendation! Love your videos and what you do for the Samsung community

Honestly surprised you didn't cover any lenses or photography hardware, don't get me wrong, all these tips are phenomenal but I would love to see what you could do with the s24 and say some neewer gear, particularly since I have some on the way and really need tips 😂

Great info for me, as I want to get more involved with the S24's photographic capabilities, in depth. Thank you!

I heard that turning on scene optimiser will sometimes give over saturated photos and also it will ruin white balance

I took a few pics with the phone outside and they have serious banding. How do I eliminate this in future. It was a sunny day.

Amazing video. Thank you. One thing I am really struggling with is getting all people in a shot to remain in focus. If I am really far away, the phone can pull it off, however if I am within around 1-5 metres and using the 1x camera, even with face recognition on, the phone will blur some people whilst maintaining perfect focus on others as long as they are the same exact distance from the lens. No matter what settings I have on, I can't get it to work, mind you, I just turned on Scene Optimiser just now as per your recommendation in case it does the trick. A mate of mine tried it on his phone and he has the identical issue. If this is not something you face, it would be so helpful to know how you've configured every single setting.
