I switched to T-Mobile 9 days ago and dropped Cox cable quickly. I work from home using vpn to work on my work laptop, have my desktop up running Lost Ark and my wife is streaming Hulu content all at the same time with no buffer or loss of signal. And I am saving $150 per month. I love it so far.

My wife and I are retired nurses traveling full-time in our RV. I have been using a Verizon hotspot for the past 3 years and in the daytime was seeing only 2 to 3 download and upload speeds. Some RV parks had decent free WiFi. I recently got the T-Mobile Home Internet and am seeing 300+ download and 50+ upload speeds. This was literally life changing for us. We have never been able to use streaming services until now and are really enjoying the streaming options now open to us.

T-Mobile offers one month free for signing up and I just ordered the Gateway and can't wait to hook it up and try it out.

just set mine up and its great so far. I think im pretty close to a 5G tower cause on my iphone 13 pro with t-mobile ive hit 1.2gbps on cellular. With this device ive hit 700mbps down and 100up on my xbox. Overall a really great value. Plus im only paying $30 a month! as a Magenta Max customer

I love when he says, If you take it on the road "You won't get those fast speeds you're used to getting in your home location"... but here I am getting 32 Mbps at home plugged directly into my Centurylink DSL. FML

Been using for 5 days now, great speeds with 5 bars ~700 Mbps down, 80 up, 19 pings. Doble NAT is not issue fior me as I rather use my TP_LInk AX6000 router's security and DHCP for all my devices. I just have 2 sets of wifi, using the TMO for guests. MTU=1420 and Cloudflare DNS. FYI: TP-Link routers: Manually set your QOS to match or exceed TMO max speed!!!! Otherwise, router may "auto" set these values to lower (mine was by default "auto" set to only 350 Mbps so this was limiting my speeds)! Took me 2 days to stumble on this setting! Online gaming works with not issues, PC and Xbox. Today I finally cut the Comcucks cable!

If you wanna get the new gateway, just order new service and then when it arrives, return the old box and cancel the old service. It worked for me. Much easier than getting the support to send one as a replacement

I use this in my camper van I built, I live in it. I used 6 terabytes last month downloading games and playing games, plus movies and YouTube. Works great in Detroit near downtown where I park

Me and my 2 kids are big gamers. Gaming while streaming Netflix and all that works just fine. The only thing I notice that doesn't work well is cloud gaming. Stadia and Game pass x cloud does play very choppy. Hoping that will improve with time.

Also guys, I entered my address on T-Mobile website and saw they didn't provide internet service in my neighborhood. I decided to search the T-Mobile tower coverage near my house. Turns out my neighborhood is surrounded by towers. Called T-Mobile and had the rep ship the product anyways. My home internet service has been amazing thus far. ☺

I use my Amazon Eero Router with my TMobile. My speeds are sporadic at best. I have gotten from 200mbps up to almost 800 mbps. I also use a Netgear Wifi booster. I love it compared to Spectrum, I cant lie. It seems to run faster when I connect via VPN. They also offer a free One month signing bonus(which i am curently waiting for since i signed up in march). So far so good

I’m impressed with this. Nowhere near your speeds (I’m downloading about 40Mbps uploading 10Mbps) and game, stream in 4k, run Ring cams and mobile devices and they work! Downloads are slow… like upgrading an Nvidia driver package used to be a few seconds with xfinity and now is a few dozen minutes, but $200 vs $50.

I have 5G in my area, but I only get about 25 down and 10 up. everybody else I have read atleast gets 100 down. I don't get it. would external antennas make a difference??

The best thing about this video is where you placed the gateway. I'm planning to try that, and the spot I have picked out or it is in the middle of the house, with walls between it and the windows. And the closest tower is 1 mile away. Only one way to find out how well it works.

I live in southern part of Escondido, Ca. This is not rural, but there wasn't any 5G towers near me. I was only getting 35-50 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up on a average. I ended up going with cable which gives me a steady 250 down and 10 up for the same amount of money.

No bridge mode with the T-Mobile box so double NAT when using your router. Not necessarily a huge hit to the performance but nonetheless an extra step.

great video. I had a few of these question. I need to get a router. love my service though. I have 8-10 devices at once and it doesn't skip a beat. Im live on zoom with 5 LIVE sports events on and its perfect. Best wifi I've had like this.

Have you tried using any VPN's w/ this? I'm seriously on the verge of firing Spectrum.

This is the best thing for full time RV, Mobil hotspots are spotty, this thing seems to always be connected even when traveling across the country in remote locations.
You may not be the world's fastest in remote locations but you will be able to stream movies and things like that.
Starlink may be better but that cost a small fortune.
