I live in a rural area. The coverage feature said it wasn't available in my area. A friend brought his device to my house. It does work. I get consistent speeds over 100 megabit.

Hi Michael
I have had my T-Mobile internet since June works better than att dsl I had. About every 20 to 27 days the Wifi stops working. I reboot then it's fine. I get about 125 to 600 down. About 25 to 50 up. I like watching your channel because you take your time and don't rush.

The video is succinct, clearly covering all the necessary points. As a retired tech professional I was skeptical of the claims made by various T Mobiles reps but in hindsight the sales "hype" proves to be true.

Thank you so much for your video. When I signed up for T-Mobile Internet I wasn't even told I would be receiving the equipment, he didn't go over anything other that signing me up and asking for payment information. I didn't realize until I received the Gateway that there was equipment to be used. (I thought I would be using my old equipment I was using previously with another internet company.) So finding your video really helped me in setup. And also the tip to not cancel my previous internet company for a few weeks was really helpful, I was ready to cancel tomorrow. Everything was very much appreciated.

As a tmobile rep. Your video rocks! Yes that's right. Non return fees and out of warranty fees for phones (not sure for the internet) is harsh and yea it can be very aggravating but its worth it when sent early. If you decided to cancel whenever you call support we'll have it cancelled and you'll get the return label automatically if not call us or chat support can assist you but heads up that the home internet is pretty new and needs to develop more in more areas so tmo is doing their best to expand to serve customers better! 🎧🥰

Thank you T-Mobile. I live in the country and there's one main internet provider but it's so expensive. 100 dollars is too much. T-Mobile is perfect. Thank u. So far so good

Your videos are excellent, I watch them all!🙏 One additional helpful hint: When changing internet providers, keeping previous password credentials saves you the trouble of updating each device individually.

I've struggled in the past because my apartment doesn't have any ethernet ports in the wall and every gateway I've seen prior requires them. This only requires a wall outlet! You've certainly convinced me to get this.

Thank you so much for making such a good and helpful video. I am not tech savvy, so I can’t say enough, how grateful I am. Thank you again!!

This was SO HELPFUL. My gateway has a glitch in it and so I have no WiFi throughout the apt. After troubleshooting with two different customer care folks it was determined that I needed a replacement gateway so that's here but I'm pretty bad at network setups (I can build a computer with my eyes closed but networking is not my strong suit LOL) so this video just made putting the new gateway to work for me today seem much much easier and less stressful! Thanks so much! 😁

Well, I’m giving up on T-Mobile wireless and going back to Cox wireless. The blink camera and Samsung tv simply would not link to T-Mobile. My daughter tried the Samsung at her house with Cox and had no issues, so I know it’s T-Mobile. Plus, the very first rain storm we had (and not a bad one), T-Mobile was out for several hours. I was able to get Cox panoramic for 50 bucks a month for 2 years, which I’m happy with.

I have two of these for two different locations for the pat 4 months. They work great. Can’t beat the price!

Just a heads up....there are only a limited amount of "slots" that you can get for the $50/mo unlimited data for your area. I called 3 months ago for my house we are building to confirm we were eligible. I'm located in a rural area. I should have signed up at that time but I waited and signed up about a week ago. There were no more "slots" available for the $50/mo unlimited data so I ended up getting the 300g $150/mo until a "slot" comes open. My advice, if they say you are eligible and there are unlimited slots available SIGN UP NOW! It truly is first come, first served.

Just hooked it up. It took an hour but it finally is working! Working pretty good too! Bye Bye Spectrum!

Thank you for this video - it was very helpful! I just set up my account and Wi-Fi. The steps you explained hit the things that I wanted to know.

Live in a rural area and our ATT dsl sucked! Also our broadband dish service sucked and went down with power outages.
This has worked great for us with good speeds.
If you have access to fiber and the price is good I would go that route.
Box came quickly and I found setup to be fairly straight forward.

To the point, in-depth setup video. Excellent upload thanks!

Thanks for the info! The speeds are making me tempted to switch (nearly as fast as current wired), but I dread setting up every device for every family member.

I get good speeds but about 30-40ms latency and sometimes it spikes to 200-1000, anyone know why and how I can fix it? I’ve been thinking about getting a router rather than just using the gateway. (We have a lot of smart home stuff like lights and alexas so that might be affecting things)

I think at $50 a month, it’s a great service. Sadly I’m not in an area where it’s offered. I have heard about some downsides which maybe you could address. It’s difficult to just use the gateway as a modem & continue to use your router as a router. Also port forward doesn’t work, so what problems does that cause? Thanks
