Really great info!! I have the Torch and hated the LOUD sound and ALL my friends LOVE it and wanted to buy them off of me, , , , fast forward now I think the sound is kinda wonderful, , , , so I guess I'm keeping my Torches and need to get a new bike to throw some Hydras on it so I have both ;-)

I'm in the market for buying a MTB wheelset from you guys and my first choice was the DT Swiss 240 EXP from the NA warehouse but you don't stock the specific model I wanted so the I9 Hydra would be my choice. My main concern is bearing durability and pawls failure----> Have you heard of many Hydra hub failures so far?

Just FYI, the "quiet grease" trick worked for about 400 miles on the older Torch rear hub and made them nearly silent for about 250 miles... Sorry, but only about 5 miles on the newer Hydra hub then back to the even more annoying (higher pitched?) :-(
