Fun Astronomy Fact: Io (Jupiter's moon) is one of the few satellites that have actual volcanism going on inside. The reason for that is that it's being pulled so hard by Jupiter's gravity that all the stress from the tidal forces produces Io's internal heat.

Talk about an unhealthy planet/moon relationship.
