Following Piers Morgan's interview with Ben Shapiro off the back of his success with anti-hip hop track Facts with rapper Tom MacDonald, Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by Tom to discuss the furore and backlash the song has received.

Tom tells Piers why he doesn't think the song is cultural appropriation and suggests the hip hop community is 'hypocritical'.

Piers is then joined by DJ Vlad and Talib Kweli to discuss whether Tom and Ben's track is offensive, with Piers pointing out there doesn't seem to be as much outrage over John Legend rewriting the lyrics to 'Baby It's Cold Outside'.

This guy's reaction is exactly what Tom and Ben are rapping about.

Tom never blamed his drug addiction on hip hop or any music. This guy is offended for no reason.

I'm black and I love the song, facts don't care about your feelings... period!!! If you're offended by the song, then you're the racist, cos the song ain't 😎

Wow. The song isn't racist. I was beaten, assaulted and cheated on by a man who religiously listened to hard core rap music in the 90's. The rap was about everything he did to me.

Should have allowed Tom to respond to the criticism.

Talib being so mad make me like Toms song even more. Talib is being more racist then everyone else in this discussion combined.

I’m so tired of race talks. People can’t have opinions about music because of their skin colour now? Hypocrisy.

Talib Kweli cames across as confused and bitter. His incoherent rant was asinine and immature.

Piers needs to push back harder against these loons.

Looks like the trolling worked. Well done Ben and Tom. Keep at it.

Talib acting the the vast majority of the rap that comes out isn't centered around sex, money, drugs or violence is just disingenuous...

I’m a mom and grandma and it’s about time someone hasn’t sold their soul to the devil. Our kids need someone in their world to speak the truth!

Tom MacDonald has never blamed his past addiction on rap music. If anything his music and message has given him purpose.

Talib would be offended by an apple falling from a tree

“I’m not a racist. A lot of my friends are white.” Talib Kweli spouts hypocrisy in every bar.

I never quite understand why people make such stretches when they are in their feelings

Being the most angry person in the room doesn't win debates.

Why didn’t you let Tom debate his detractors? He would have taken them apart.

Talib is constantly with the victim mentality.

I think when Tom says, "this ain't rap, " it means the content of committing crime is not appropriate for rap, or any genre for that matter.
