Write them down (on a notebook or on an app), every time you do, you have a higher chance of remembering subsequent dreams. Also when you read through them, you can kinda remember the people and sceneries. Fascinating honestly.

When I'm dreaming and someone wakes me up, I usually remember the last few moments of that dream

I can't remember my dreams after about 15 minutes, but I can remember them when I wake up, and when I'm having them I know I'm dreaming and I can change things around. The experiences are very vivid. Dreaming is fun! :p

I usually remember all my dreams in great detail plus I can resume a dream in case I wake up. I've had dreams where I know that I'm dreaming, it's pretty surreal. I'm in my dream and I know I'm sleeping, I'm looking around thinking, "wow this looks sooo real!"

I can remember my good dreams which is like 1 dream a week, as soon as I wake up I write the dream in my "Dream diary"

for a while I was keeping a dream journal. It started because I had a cool dream and didn't want to forget it so I wrote it down. After that I began writing down every dream I could remember every day.  The more I wrote the more I remembered.  I was able to remember multiple dreams almost every day.  If I didn't write them down soon enough I would start forgetting details, so it's best to write them down as soon as you can.

Sometimes I think I never dream, because I remember absolutely nothing. So when you said we dream every night it gives me reassurance.

Please stop saying things like "we have theories" when they are not! 99% of the time you guys refer to something as a theory what you really mean is a hypothesis :) As you probably know a theory is a set of "rules" that have been tested and verifed and the rules predictions also has to be true and verified for something to even be considered a theory.

I had a dream like 3 years ago that i still remember quite well. it was quite an ethereal experience. i made a friend in my head that i had never met before, she was very nice but i wish to see her again. this is why I've been trying to lucid dream.

I remember all my dreams, and if I write them down right after waking up I can remember them in great detail.

When I was sick as a child, I always had the strangest recurring dreams. The dreams basically used a combination of ancient human torture devices. After visiting some sites in London, England, those dreams stopped completely, and I never had them ever again. Also for the past 2 years, I have never gotten sick due to fixing my vitamin D deficiency.

I control my dreams, and every morning I go back to bed and sleep to dream a good one, I relax in my dreams more than the reality.

I made it a habit to replay everything the moment I wake up so that I could recall more of it if I choose to write/draw what I saw.

I don't remember where I heard it, but someone guessed that dreams might be your mind trying to mentally prepare itself for possible dangers in the future. I don't know if it could be, but it sounds awesome.

i remember almost all my dreams just like they're regular memories.
i usually know they're dreams, but i remember them just like anything else.  Like i remember whatever i did Saturday & then Sunday afternoon & evening, then i remember going to sleep & what i dreamed (when i finally fell asleep) Monday morning/afternoon, & then i remember what i've done since i woke up last evening.  And i remember dreams that i had years ago, just like any other 'awake' memory.
i think it has something to do with my massive sleeping problems, but it just seems weird to people when they mention a dream they had the nite before & i say something like "Yeah a few months ago i dreamed that i was . . . "

My theory is that dreams don't go into long term memory, for whatever reason that may be, so they stay in short-term memory, that is why we remember dreams interrupted by alarm or the ones we dreamed up until we woke up. So technically as long as we hold on to dreams in our focus we can remember them.
