How To Set Up Ring Alarm Contact Sensor

In this video we teach you how to set up your Ring Alarm Contact Sensor. The Ring Contact Sensors will alert you if a door or window is opened and sound the Ring Alarm System.

To set up or install the Ring Alarm Contact Sensors you will need to have your Ring Alarm System set up and installed and connected to the Ring App on your phone. Once you have your Ring Alarm System set up and connected to your phone you can then set up your Ring Alarm Contact Sensor and install it at your window or door location.

To Install or Set Up Ring Alarm Contact Sensor:
1. Login to the Ring Alarm App and click add a device.
2. Select the contact sensors from the menu.
3. Follow the instructions to set up the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor.
4. Peel off the battery tab to activate the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor.

My contact sensor isn't showing up in the security section. Only the routers

This is definitely the way it should work. I get as far as the scan QR code but when I choose the code scanned, it does not take me to screen to finish setting up the contact sensor, it takes me to the set up a device screen where I started. Happens every time. I just go through the same sequence over and over; however, the main controller does beep when I separate the contact magnet. Don’t know where to find them to finish setting up and no devices are listed anywhere in my system.

Why he amount the biggest piece the main sensor part on the door, and not the small magnet doesn't make any sense for me. I deffently gonna mount the small magnet on the door so does move all the time.
