Doordash: Active Time VS Dash Time - What Is The Difference?

There is a difference between active time and dash time when inside of the dasher app. When it comes to dash time it means how long it has been since you started dashing. Active time means all your orders in your shift added up.

For example during my DoorDash breakfast shift I dashed for an hour and 37 minutes. out of that hour and 37 minutes I was only out for orders for a total of 48 minutes.

I only had two orders that I had done which gave me a total of $14. Not the best but not the worst either.

Is waiting time at the restaurant cinsidered as active time?
If so, I will take every $3 orders from franchised restaurants at night, which will easily take 20 to 40 minutes at the drive thru and receive prop 22 CA earnings.
