There's a locals near me that DESPISES yugioh and does awful prizing kind of like this. The thing is it's actually an amazing store for magic and D&D shit but no one who works there knows what a handtrap is.

Case and point: one month they had their only yugioh local during the same week as a YCS that was 3 hours away. Yea no one came and they were all miffed about it.

Weiss is awkward, as even we don't want Weiss prize packs as we already have the entire set for the decks we play. Outside maybe pulling value it isn't worth it and hence most of the time I just claimed Yugi/Magic packs for any prize support.

Went a tried out a new locals that was about an hour drive away cause I was bored. Ended up winning and was informed the prize support was $3 in store credit for each win. They didn’t even give out OTS packs and you could only spend the credit on snacks and singles. Not even packs lmao
