Can someone tell me where did you get 1 in case 3 that is x^2 =1? Why is it 1?

What if the left side which is the numerator is not x^2 but x^2-15x+6, can it still be equal to 1?

Please answer may case na ganyan kung saan ang dx ay nasa taas, does that mean na hindi na iderive yung sa baba since walang lang ba yung dx sa taas at dx sa center ng fraction?....ganito po yung problem: (3x^2 + 2x -12)dx / (x^3 + 7x^2 + 12x).... bale nasa taas yung dx at hindi sa center.
