My first attempt to escape from rat race failed miserably. but I won't stop. One day I will be free and really enjoy what I do.

I personally despise the "rat race." In my opinion it's nothing more than a bunch of mediocre people trying to climb the ladder of mediocrity by doing the same thing everybody else is doing. Why not think outside the box and do what others aren't doing for once? Besides, people are just stressing themselves out for no reason and stress ages you.

When you work so hard to do the dreams of another person instead of your own dreams, this makes you cry, 30, 40, even 50 years of your life working to another's pocket person, this is one slap in my face, am gonna do my own business...

We've been out of the rat race since the end of 2011. We quit our jobs, sold the house, loaded the car and just took off.
5, 000 miles and 21 countries later and we have a new home, a vineyard, no mortgage, no rent, minimal bills.
We get up whenever we want, go to bed when we feel like it, do as much or as little as we like and have never been bored since we left England.

I have quitted from rat race in 2016. It is crazy, we work from 9 to 5 during weekdays and get pay like a peanut, meanwhile our boss get the biggest portion from company's profit. It's really unfair.

Life is really meaningless.

I had been in that rat-race since I was 17. But now I am 37 and retire from that life style. No debt and own apartment. Enjoying my life in contentment. I am creating sources of income now without having to work for 9 to 5 for someone else.

I escaped the rat race 10 years ago and have all the time in the world to do whatever pleases me but unfortunately you get tired of being home and miss the rat race that's why I am looking forward to work once again not just any job but something that makes me happy to be in the race.

I just turned 20 and I'm working a full time job from 8am to 6pm Monday threw Friday and I'm living my life on the weekends. I work in an office as well so I'm never outside to enjoy a beautiful day. My parents want me to be a doctor and study hard to ear good money . This has given me stress, anxiety and depression at times, all of this and Ive only been 20 for 2 weeks. This video has made me realized that if I continue the way I am now I'm going to be the rat, I'm so grateful to have found this video, I wanted a sign to know if I was going in the right direction and this video has opened my eyes!!

The real trouble is we are brainwashed into believing that capitalism is the only alternative to economic relations. Socialism may not be the answer either but clearly we have not searched for a system to replace runaway capitalism.

It's a catch 22 trap🤔 If you quit the rat race you cannot earn money unless you're tech savvy in some way! If you stay with your job, you have no free time!

I left the rat race of San Diego, California 2 years ago. Had 2 jobs and still wasn't making it financially.
Living in Midwest where it's less stressful, have a roof over my head, a job with flexibility and little to no traffic also not heavily populated. This video is right on tho.

This race has created symptoms of bipolar and daily suicidal ideation within me.

This video just read my soul an displayed it. Exactly what I feel. At least i am aware, but still searching for my path. A sad era for humanity where money and power enslave us.
