This reminds me of an old movie called Groundhog's Day set in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania (maybe an hour from where I live). I watch it every year. It's about a meteorologist and his news crew who got stuck in a blizzard on Groundhog's Day when they tried to go home and he wakes up every day at 6 AM no matter what he does on Groundhog's Day. He finally breaks out of the loop at the end, he falls in love and learns so many things, like how to play the piano, about the people who live there, even saving a man's life. It's a really cute story and fun to watch every year.
