How to Talk to Your Child About Dyslexia - Learning that your child has dyslexia can feel a little overwhelming. Just remember there are three things that your child needs to understand when you talk with them about dyslexia:

1. They are not alone. Millions of people around the world have dyslexia - including many other kids in their school.
2. You will work with their school and teacher to make sure they are able to learn in a way that works best for them.
3. Remind your child of the things they are good at and tell them that dyslexia is not a barrier to achieving their dreams.

Celebrate our differences! Each person has different strengths and weaknesses which make us better together.
