What year will humans leave this solar system to explore another? Well first things first, we have to avoid killing each other in war, manmade disasters, or other such manmade stupidity. Assuming we don't kill each other into extinction before we can start exploring the heavens, we will need to invent someway of traveling faster than the speed of light or bypassing the speed of light altogether. So this means either an FTL drive (faster than speed of light travel) or Stargates (artificial wormholes) will need to be invented first, so that we can feasibly travel across the universe in reasonable timespans. Assuming we can overcome all these hurdles to leaving this solar system for another, I predict we will leave the solar system by the year 2257, or sooner or later idk.
