How to survive if the Sun went out:
1- Get Scissors
2- make sure you have a calendar
3- cut out the days except for *"SUNDAY"* every month in your calendar.

So basically, I need to build a full on fallout shelter at least a mile underground, with a bunch of specialized equipment both to build and maintain it that I don't have, and with the right equipment and knowledge to maintain a steady supply of food, water, electricity, and some sort of artificial sunlight, plus a way to cycle oxygen so I don't suffocate.

Easy peasy. I'll start tomorrow.

Honestly, I think I would just go ahead and die. After watching The Gray, survival in that kind of climate would be beyond dismal, it would be wretched. Many of my loved ones would likely be dead, possibly my significant other, my mother, or my sister. I don't think I could take it. I would likely just walk out into the dark cold and allow it to take me. Living wouldn't be worth much to me if I couldn't share it with my loved ones, and considering I've had a long history of clinical depression, I don't think surviving is worth suffering. In fact, I'm relatively certain of it. But that's just me, not to throw a massive wet blanket into the ring. It just seems accurate.
