Billions of years in the future, our Sun will become a red giant and then die out. But when the Sun dies, where do we go? Well, Elon Musk's Mars mission is starting to look appealing. Could Mars be the next habitable planet for humans in space once our Solar System is no more?

“I don’t think the human race will survive the next thousand. years, unless we spread into space. There are too many accidents that can befall life on a single planet. But I’m an optimist. We will reach out to the stars.” – Stephen Hawking

Hopefully humans will have built a massive spaceship, so we can become intergalactic nomads to survive the end of our solar system.

What if: These events will happen billions of years later
Me: I'm still worried though

If we look back at the advances we've made in the last 80 years, i feel like in 8 billion we'd be chillin on the complete opposite end of the universe

Not to swell your head or anything but your presentation and delivery is better than some cable channels content of like subjects. Great job.

There’s no way we could survive with the currently knowledge we have of the universe but it’s nice to pretend 😅

The only solution to this problem is we live in space until we find another home. We build a sort of arc that is sort of like earth but a massive space ship with its own gravitational force and has an atmosphere just like earth. this arc would be enormous and be built on the moon and maybe use the moon and turn it into a sustainable arc or ship. The engineering of this would be astronomical but not all impossible. We already have the structure built and that is the moon itself. We just have to figure out how to move it and build sort of a dome shell over it to create the atmosphere and pressure for us to survive. We just have to change our way of thinking that's all. We just live our lives generation after generation like normally until we can find a suitable planet to live on permanently. And we keep doing this every time a solar system dies. We leave in search of another home. At this point time is irrelevant we would be like nomads traveling across the vastness of the universe slowly on our moon converted into an arc. colonizing and un colonizing worlds and constantly traveling through the universe. We colonize a world for a few million years living generation after generation of humans then we leave that world for another few million years living generation after generation in space then we colonize another world for another million years and so forth and so on. We keep our moon arc in orbit also. An endless cycle of colonizing and un colonizing forever. Human generation after human generation. some may never see a world and some may never see space. That's how you solve this problem. You brace the vastness of space and work with it generation after generation of human beings. That is how we would survive with todays technology.

People who live on Europa moon:
Future child: "Hey dad, do you know that once upon a time there was life on Earth?"

Future father: "Don't believe everything they tell you"

It’s cute that humanity thinks it knows everything about the universe.

Cool video, I really liked and enjoyed it. I definitely got a lot of inspiration for the novella series I’m writing book 1 for.
For the backstory of my books world called Terragartha, I’m going to have the earth get mysteriously sucked into a inter dimensional wormhole that appears as if from nowhere.
That occurs during the year 20 million 30.
As soon as the earth entered the wormhole it transformed from a polyhedron to a flare square plane called Terragartha.
However not long after a dangerous ever watching relentless light called the Falorium descended upon the world. Not only that but the dangerously piercing electro-winds magnetarum descended upon the world as well.
Terragartha was reduced to a apocalyptic wasteland, as the event known as the Burning Scorch ravaged the land. The Burning Scorch is still ongoing in the present year of 50 billion 32.
Which actually the correct year, time is different inside the wormhole, the year outside the wormhole is 80 billion 32.
