method 1. can not disable Windows Update service, can only Stop & set to Manual;
method 2. added REG_DWORD -- NoAutoUpdate = 1;
method 3. in gpedit there is no Configure Automatic Updates;
method 4. no Pause updates any more on my machine!
I hope the first method 2 will work for some time

You can't do the 4th one if you have already disabled the service.
We will see, but I think these will be reversed and WU will be running again soon.

The condition is don't turn of your PC, or it will update again. If you update Edge, yes it also update Windows.

I have a solution for you. Don´t install Windows. That´s it and really effective.
