Just bought the SST-600ind. 2 zones work fine. 1 zone sprinklers don’t come on but no error message. 1 zone sprinkler dont come on and gives an error-check valve #. Any advice please?

If the irrigation control for a particular station is on, but the water only turns on if I open the solenoid counterclockwise. Does this mean that the solenoid is bad?

I have leaks and I see no difference if I close completely clockwise or if I turn 1/4 turn counterclockwise

So it's better to turn on the solenoid ratherthan the manual bleed screw when turning on sprinklers manual?

I can manually turn on the rainbird valve and hear water but the sprinklers don't come on. The other two valves still operate their sprinklers. What is wrong with/or the fix for the other one?

Need a little help. There is a freeze coming and I’m trying to make sure I keep the equipment safe. Is this what I need. To do? There were two separate underground valve covers so I’m not sure what I need to turn.

If I turn on a zone at the timer / control box, will I see the solenoid actually turn when looking down at the valve? (I’m trying to figure out which zones control which solenoids).

First time this has happened to me and it makes no sense. I manually turned my sprinklers system on by rotating the solenoid. After about 17 minutes I was about to go turn it off and the system went off on it’s own. When I went to the valve and rotated the solenoid to close position, I saw nothing unusual. How can the line shut down on it’s own while the solenoid is in open position?

My issue is I can’t find where the hell the solinoids are. Searched all over my lawn and home. No solinoids to be found. All I can find is a couple places in the lawn I can pop open but only thing in there are wires with wire caps.

I turned clockwise to close all the valve. But the sprinklers still sprayed water. How can I shut them down completely?

Great instructions. Except for when you turn the valve a quarter turn and the system does not turn on manually. Then what do you do?

I work at a golf course in canada. We are using an air compressor to blow out the air in the lines. Pressured up to 50 psi, I was told to walk down fair way, and open 1 sprinkler head to no water comes out. I have a little red plastic key to turn the red knob and open sprinkler head. Would have been nice to make the key a little longer so when doing this you don't gotta worry about the hear popping up and smashing into your knuckles, it pops up and down so quickly. Even with me standing out of the way i still took a sprinkler head to the jaw, when I opened 1 and it blew apart. To much pressure? Or the head was just messed up to begin with? There are long runs of piping, lots of heads, and pipes that discharge into the few ponds on this 1 particular setup. It seems to me after doing some research that my employer has no idea on how to properly do this. The year before they used 2 compressors. Bosses idea, when blown out a bunch of heads got fucked. And, like everything this guys does or touches, always turns out worse, takes longer, looks shitier, adds more steps. Telling us its better, yet has never once went out and tried before, or after change. And to top it all off. This change, would not even be noticed by golfers, (except how shitty it looks now) nor effect play.
