Hi Bro - I am Using Ubuntu Studio 18.4 - I have a text file with no dot txt - in my - file system - I can only see it in a terminal window, using command - ls - Even though I can not see the file in the File system GUI window - I can open it in a GUI window using right click menu - Find in this folder - i enter the file name in the search and then when it finds and displays what it found in the folder file system GUI window, I can left 2x click in it and open the txt file( it opens in mousepad ) - How do i reset the file to - dot txt - as your video is the closest to this problem, But did not work, I tried to change the file name to end as .txt - I got a error message - mv: target '2019.txt' is not a directory - This was text file I forgot to end with .txt when saving from Mousepad. Ps i think the problem is there are spaces between each word in the file name and the terminal will not recognize the spaces ?

This doesn't work. I get an error saying the new name isn't a directory.

I tried to move it but it said I don't have permission so I did it as sudo and the file disappeared as if it was deleted.
