DAMN windows 11!! When I want rename a folder or content as you show it, I get the round hour glass and not responding message. I never had this issue with windows 10. Any suggestion?

Windows 11: I went to file manager and right clicked on the file. I did not receive any window that had rename or an icon to rename. I opened the file by double right clicking and on the top where dots appeared (more) I right clicked an got an drop down window but still no rename. I did a save as, changed the name and got a second copy. You instruction does not work!!

I could only do it if I went to the actual place where the file was saved (external drive)but if I just accessed the file from File Explorer Quick Access it was not possible.
