VEGAN JUNK FOOD: RAMEN & Shogayaki - T's Tantan | Ueno, Tokyo [4K]

Delicious Ramen, Pork Saute, and more vegan friendly dishes!

There's a new restaurant over inside the JR Ueno station! T's Tantan opened up shop on December 1st, 2017 to offer three varieties of their super popular vegan ramen, along with a lot of new items on the menu!

Today, Charly and Victor get to try ALL three types of Tantan Ramen at the new store, along with their Veggie Pork Saute, which consists of soy meat, ginger sauce, and veggies! For those in a hurry, they also have veggie katsu sandwiches to go! We loved the ramen and the veggie pork saute and gave it high marks! This is a shop we definitely recommend!

Thanks guys for the video !! I went there yesterday and as I am French I followed Charlie's suggestion with the black sesame noodles. It was super nice ! I would like to add that they have vegan gyozas as well and that is super rare to find it in Japan !!! They are very good! If you are vegetarian or vegan like me and you miss gyozas, just go ahead ;)

Thank you for this video! Your meal looked so delicious. As a pescatarian, I try to eat vegan most of the time, so this is super helpful. We have a new tantanmen restaurant in LA called Killer Noodle Tsujita, but sadly they don't have any veggie options. Thanks again, guys!

Awesome! It’s great that plant based food tastes as good as animal based ones when done right (that’s with any cuisine). Also note that you’ve saved animals from going through torture and violent slaughter (check out videos to see for yourself), you’d gain even more satisfaction for choosing the kinder option!

I just discovered your channel because I was searching for vegan options in Japan. I found this video super helpful! Can you please do one on vegan desserts and street food? I'm really worried about going to Japan and not being able to enjoy desserts and street food because everything seems to have meat or dairy. I'm surprised they don't have more desserts with a soy, rice or coconut milk base.

Japan needs more vegan options! It's so easy to make vegan Japanese food by getting a little creative with soup stocks and using more soy/seitan things to make a variety of foods...
