{Why Didn’t Jesus Inherit Adam’s Sin?} Since Jesus was fully man, as well as fully God, according to the hypostatic union, how did He not inherit Adam's sin that all men inherit according to Psalm 51:5?

because original sin is not sound doctrine when taken to its logical end.

He came in the likeness of sinful flesh, yet without sin ...he was tempted in every way that we are, yet he did not sin...why did he not sin... because he used the spirit to his advantage, which we fail to do... and as I sat here and meditated on this, it has occurred to me that we only have free will when we overcome the temptation...because when the temptation comes and we fall to it then we are held captive by the will of the flesh...so we may say that christ came to give us freewill, which would be God's will, so in reality he came to set the captives free from the will of the flesh and to give us freewill which would be God's will...Jesus said it best when he told the father not my will but your will be done.

Because he was born of a virgin and did not inherit Adams sin of rebellion against God. No male was involved. Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done, ” declares the LORD.Joshua 24:15 (KJV) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I agree with Winger in the sense that I don't hold to original guilt. However, the virgin birth does not solve the issue for those who do. Mary is still human. This would imply that sin is only passed down through men and not women. Also, Jesus isn't just human, He is like us in every way according to Hebrews 2:17.

No person inherits sin Ezekiel 18 is a refutation of the misinterpretation of Psalm 51. David was conceived in a sinful act of his parent(s), not that sex is a sin but remember that David was the last to be considered for kingship and this was likely because he was not his legal mother's biological son. David calls his mother a handmaid (like Hagar) and says that he is a "stranger to my own mother's sons" (which makes sense if this mother is his Legal mother)
Jacob had two wives and two handmaids who bore children for their master Abraham had Hagar as his handmaid. Now technically having children with your wife's handmaid was not adultery if she was not married, and the wife gave her to him for child bearing but I don't think it was ever sinless even if it was legal under the Mosaic Law. Romans 5:12 is addressed by Michael Heiser and William Lane Craig as well as all the Orthodox Churches who still use Greek, they all say it does not say all inherit sin, read it for yourself in Greek, it says we inherit death which is why the Greeks who reject Augustinian original sin as heresy still affirm Infants must be saved by the work of Christ, they are mortal and die like all of us.

Sin is damage to nature, not nature itself, that constitutes sin. Thus, sin (which we all inherit in Adam) is based on a warping and a deformation of our nature. It is never natural for us. Thus Jesus, the perfect man, had a perfect human nature, one that did not include sin.

Everything Jesus said he will do the Bible says without faith. It’s impossible to please God it’s not about tangible evidence. It’s about belief. God can give us all the evidence we desire, but how would that be like a person having faith. Jehovah wants to see if we’re really worthy of his kingdom and it’s proven by our lifestyle in faith. ❤

It's not about sin really. Salvation is all about a transaction. If you're not convinced of the assertions made by men on behalf of this deity, you are denied the transactional salvation this deity offers only thr believers.
What a petty and narcissistic all powerful benevolent allegation this is.

Jesus didn't inherit Adam's sin because no one inherits Adam's sin. We are not born sinners and neither was Jesus.

It simple, the sin nature is past along by man not the woman therefore since Jesus did not have a earthly father he was sinless.

Rom 5:12  Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned

My dear brother In-Christ. I hope my following comments are helpful. In John chapter 1 we read that the WORD ( Christ ) In the beginning was the Word. ( Genesis 1 also says In the beginning ) and the WORD was WITH God and the WORD was God.

The LOGOS was with God in the beginning. Christ ( not the true man ) was with God in the beginning.

God incarnate, born of a virgin was born a true man ( no sin ) Just like Adam and Eve before the fall they were true human-beings.

A true human- being is a person without any sin.
Therefore the incarnate God lived on earth without any sin. No wonder people were drawn to Him. He was different.

Why didn't Jesus inherit Adams sin? Because He was sinless. It was impossible for Christ to sin. Yes, He was tempted, but He knew He had to go to the Cross as a spotless, untainted innocent Lamb, to take away the sins of the whole world.

Only a sinless human could be the Savior of humanity.

Adams original sin ( disobedience ) with its consequence of death, has left humanity on the brink of permanent separation from God.

Death being the ultimate reality in this life, and an eternity in hell, God did not abandon His creation.

A savior was needed. A second Adam, who was untainted by sin and sins corruption, and who would be OBEDIENT to God, unto death.

It was impossible for the sinless Logos to commit any sin. This man was a TRUE man. Sinless.

He died for you and me, and we cursed and ridiculed Him.
But He loved us despite our sin.

Romans 6:19 For by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one ( true ) Man's obedience many are made righteous.

God bless.

Rom 5:12 sin entered through Adam, and death through sin came upon all men. Sin is passed down through the seed of man. Mary was conceived through the Holy Spirit, not through the seed of man ( Joseph ) so Jesus wasn’t born through Adam.

I think you have to factor in Rom 5:14 as well as Ps 51:5. From Adam to Moses there was no law so ''sin was not taken into account'"(v13) i.e. no penalty because there was no law. So why did the people die? it was not because of old age, or sickness, or disease. No death is only because of sin. Therefore, these people should not have died! But they did!! Why? The guilt of sin inherited from Adam. Do you have any other explanation?
