I feel like it's important to know that nerds make the nerd shows. That's why you will see so many Akira bike slide references in so many animated movies and shows. Animators got into animation one way or another, and for most of them that's watching anime and cartoons and movies.

What makes it even more interesting is that back in around 1993 (1994?), one of the promos for the Valencian dub of the Androids/Cell arc on Canal 9 used the "Terminator 2 theme".

As fan of Terminator, dbz and Superman it's awesome seeing all of it. I also didn't know about that with trunks look. And it's really weird that people are mad because Superman and Goku are similar in the beginning anyways. Babys sent to earth lives with good old person in a remote area with little human contact.
