I’d open a name brand consignment/thrift shop and sell everything. She could recover a lot of the money she lost if she did something like that or even just did an eBay store.

Hoarders often have a lot of trash: old newspapers, broken items, stuff like that. But she has a lot of nice clothes and shoes with the tags still on, she can probably make some of the money she spent back.

Math teacher gives a whole new meaning to math problems has 175 pairs of shoes, if I take 165 of them, how many more will she buy?

Her insistance on describing herself as “upscale” and “high end” gives her away as an average TJ Maxx shopper, only with delusions of grandeur.

Her stuff isn’t dirty…. It’s just cluttered with new clothes and shoes. They really should organize everything in piles and have a indoor yard sale

Every hoarder has a big empty hole in their hearts. Something is missing.

She needs to work on the issue that's causing her to shop needlessly and sell the extra stuff on posh mark to reduce the clutter.

I don’t know if I would say “Couture”. 😂

There is nothing luxurious and couture about living in absolute disarray, total mess, and financial crisis

I had a similar problem, and when I began doing Marisa Peer’s ‘I am
Enough’ course, I realised that the root of my addiction to shopping was that I felt that I wasn’t enough. I had hoped that shopping (and other distractions) would bring little moments of pleasure… or distraction from my emptiness.

High end couture? In leopard jeans and flip flops? That's freaking hilarious.

I had a family member who had this problem it was more of an addiction in my opinion. She was born in the Netherlands during ww2 and was starving. That might have triggered it. She was addicted to pain pills too (she had many serious health problems) she always went and bought clothes Similar to this woman and when she died her house looked similar to this. I came to clean it all out for weeks and this clip triggered that memory for me. Wish she could have had help but she was isolated as many people in this situation are. I hope this woman doesn’t have to die in her home as my relative did. It was also in a nice neighborhood and a new build house etc so I don’t think it’s always obvious. It could be someone that lives next to all of us. The outside looked perfect like thus woman’s house. You never know what goes on behind closed doors

That’s not loving clothes, it’s just filling a void, , you can treat your clothes better by not walking all over them hang them up display them beautifully that’s loving clothes 👍🏻👍🏻

These clothes are "high end" when in reality they are no better than the stuff you can get at Goodwill. All she's paying for is a brand/logo

She should have a sale. People leaving must pay for what they've picked up. That would clean her house for her and give her money. When I was out of work, I sold many of my possessions and survived the crisis. She could make a lot more than I did!

It’s a mental health issue, so until she gets help and support it’s not going to get better, she mentioned the divorce so she is lost. I wish them all the best.

These aren't high end clothes. I saw Ross and NBC tags. NBC is a store that sells damaged and irregular clothing. I saw a Burberry coat there once at NBC, but it was covered in theft deterrent ink.
