So I was a cable technician and I can tell you it is not fun walking into a hoarders house. They aren’t common but I’m one experince is enough. Instantly I questioned my whole life choices and said this $10.40 an hr ain’t worth it. But I did the job though, with a smile, closed mouth.

To me, the progress he made shows how strong, not weak he is. And he cares a lot for his family, I can tell. He was so proud to take his daughters on a tour of the clean house. Good for them!!!

I’m impressed! Having grown up with a hoarder, I KNOW that whole clean out had to be SO HARD for him…. I hope he got the mental help for the hoarding or it WILL happen again! What his girls need to realize is that something extremely traumatic happened to their father a LONG TIME AGO that he needed the help to figure out WHY HE STARTED HOARDING IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I wish him SO MUCH love, good thoughts and luck…

This is honestly such a terrible mental health condition . They think their "stuff" has value when In reality they are living in piles of litteral trash .just unsanitary, dirty piles of trash and human waste . And with out even realizing it they put this trash above the ones they love . It's honestly sad
