Trump is being cast as Caesar, arguably the most remarkable figure in all of history, via the poetic mechanism of the greatest figure in literary history, Shakespeare. I love it when Shakespeare is contemporised in this way.

If they wanted to present Trump as a power hungry moral degenerate, then they picked the wrong play, they would have been better served presenting him as Richard III.

This is a great compliment to Trump.
