How to help people feel good about themselves. We are living in times of uncertainty and frustrated plans. Many people around us are struggling to make sense of what is happening. How can you play a positive role in supporting the strengths of those around you? Here are 3 ways:

1. Ask Questions
2. Let them Help you

What is Persuasion?
* What does it take to move people to action?
* What does it take to have impact when you communicate?
* How can I inspire the people around me to be the best version of themselves?
These are questions that I answer. I answer these questions with tools that work for politicians, business leaders, entrepreneurs and professors.

Where do I begin?

Feeling truly good about yourself means loving the person you actually are, inside and out. It takes hard work and some major adjustments to learn to accept yourself and to address the unhappiness in your life

This is such an incredible idea. I make a screenshot of these 3 steps that you describe.
Sometimes it will help people when they are depressed in their life. If I make them this feeling of happiness by asking for their help. Then it helps them to make the realization that they are special enough.

"ask for their help", very powerful tip Conor, initiates such a positive difference, thanks for sharing this!

For me I use to apply the second one (Let them help you) and what I experienced is whenever you ask someone to help you it gives him/her self-confidence and also empowers them to talk to you on what they are interested and ask you help back, and that is beautiful Win-Win habit. Thanks my mentor, I will start applying these two.

Thank you very much Conor, for this latest video.
You have managed, via your hard work and persistence, to hone down to the most successful skills and techniques required to make a video that can be watched for generations to come. Watching your evolution through practice, trial (and few errors!) and the utilisation of increasingly better technology has meant the videos now have a high teaching capacity that apoears seamless from video to video (excellent graphics as a main factor. Your stance and confidence too gives great credibility. This in a year that at times has been awful for you. Thank you, Conor, for your sacrifice and altruism.

I observed that in your e-mail that linked to the video, you talked about questions submitted. I currently do have no problem providing praise, however questions 1, 4 & 5 on your blog are hugely important matters that are proving troublesome. Much work needs to be done and just hearing from you has inspired to make a start in rectifying.

Best wishes to you and your family, Conor, from Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK.

It's great to have you back to the habit of making these short videos again with unvaluable insights and reflections to keep and apply to our daily life. Thanks!

Really great insight and as a parent I can't thank you enough for sharing this wisdom. It's always easier to do everything yourself and listen to others talk about how amazing your are. However what you are doing is cementing your role as a helper and the children or others around as the recipients of your help. Then suddenly when you really need help, others around you and will assume you can help yourself like you always do :).

Thank you so much for sharing excellent insight on how to help people feel good about themselves. Asking questions would certainly will have larger impact on the people who are seriously impacted due to COVID pandemic. Sincere dialogues with the people will help figure out their strength to leverage better during this crisis. Great feelings after watching your video and wish you a great weekend.

Hi Conor, thanks for this, I've often find myself hesitating to ask for help, lest I'm troubling people. Point 3 helped me to see it as a new perspective, as a way to help people shine or even realize their strengths. Love your videos, short and to the point 🤗

Thanks for this video, Conor. I am struggling with something and would love your insight. Making people feel good about themselves is one thing, but moving people to action seems completely different. Sometimes, to get positive results in his/her life, a person needs to do the hard or uncomfortable. For example, to get in shape, you need to eat right and exercise. But when I tell people this, they get discouraged and would rather just stay in the shape they are in. Even if I show them exactly what to do (by example), they seem to get turned off by it. I find this frustrating, because I want to see people achieve their maximum potential. How can I help people change their habits, which is hard at first, while still having them feel good about themselves?

Greetings Conor. Will you make a video to explain the steps you go about produce such well done videos that you do? How you capture your content (phone?) and the notations and appropriate pop-up links that you add?
Or, if not, perhaps suggest where to find that out?
