This dude has to be a huge guy to be able to hold an LS block one-handed.

"4.8L little baby" is the most 'murican thing i've heard today

Also a low center of gravity over the front wheels. This is extremely meaningful yet overlooked.

Both are great engines, but i will say, when you look at a 5.0 Coyote, it screams "I am not designed to be kept stock".

Always have refered to, since the Small Block Chevy.. the "lego" affect..
This here is just another example of this philosophy continuing...

LS engines are the bigger version of lego pieces. You can use whatever combination you want to make an affordable build that packs a punch

Your right absolutely can't argue the facts. That coyote is one deep breathing contender.

I didn't realize until a month or two ago that chevys old small block based 4.3 is literally just a 5.7 with 2 less cylinders. Did the math and it came out exactly right 😂

The 4.3 is based off the 350 and its a pushrod v6 fun little motor

I love the fact that for a swap you had a Miata side profile 😂😁

Its my oppinon that the perfect engine has never been made. You make and engine really good in one area and your sacrificing things on others. Yes a smaller displacment ls and a large displace are overall the same size, but the larger displacing engine sacrifices cooling system efficency compared to the smaller. But even with that draw back, thats the beauty of it. By having multiple engines, all better in certian aspects then others, all fitting the same foot print, you can pick and engine thats more optimized for your application. I think alot of people dont realize how big of and impact having the right engine for your application can have.

“Pushrod engines are tiny”
Laughs in hemi

Size is certainly not overlooked. In fact, the reason why most swaps are done with an LS.

On a push rod engine you can do the head gaskets and not have to mess with the timing.

The thing you missed is in saying fitment is exactly what you featured at the end. Intakes are the one fitment issue on swaps as if you ever seen a C5 with a LSA blower there's all sorts of cuts that has been made, and the TBSS or a Hi-Ram has 15hp+ advantage over the LS1 intake, but again won't fit. C6 figured everything except direct port injection out when the LS3 rolled around hence why you can still buy a crate LS3 from almost 20 years ago.

"Tiny" and "packs a punch" is how my girl describes me 😎

Power pr dollar, or power pr pound. Almost any flavor for any build.
You can spend more to be different. You can spend more to be Brand loyal (mustang), but everyone fears a fox body with a LS/ turbo combo.

The biggest benefit of the LS is the weight, you can put a LS from a Corvette into a Miata . And it won't even upset the balance because it doesn't weigh anymore than the 4-cylinder engine that you took out .

ok but that voice crack when he said "you can ALso fit a..."
