I often see Paul McCartney opening his eyes very wide open. I think it is to make sure to keep the placement high in his face. It’s like a reminder to himself.

Spank me! I look like I'm being skewered by a rhino horn when I try for high notes. 😢 heh

I have found out on EE vowel my jaw tends to get a bit tense. On other vowels Im doing fine. I compared my mouth position with all the vowels from a mirror and noticed my jaw drops a bit from F#4 going up with all the other vowels, but with EE it got stuck. Letting it drop just a bit while keeping the jaw relaxed seems to help me hit the high notes with EE. Your mouth is not that open but you sound great… so you are doing something different. 😊 Or do you also just drop it slightly later, when you go past A4 or something… ?

jesses.
