jealous of the forklift. would certainly make lifting 6BT heads a lot easier on the back to have a tireless helper to hold things at bench height!

Wow, takes me back to 1980 something when an an older Mechanic explained how a Detroit worked as two stroke, so if I remember there are no intake valves as it picks up air through the sleeve ports? I don't do this work and I forget a lot of things like this, I remember nothing else sounds as good as a Detroit!!

The head on my 4-53T appears to be a low hour Reliabuilt complete cylinder head. Even the roller lifters are stamped Reliabuilt. I think they put a head on a worn out bottom end hoping it would fix it. On the bright side, hopefully it won't need much work to get it back in order. I'd love to find a complete rebuildable 4-53T Silver core for a reasonable price, but it seems like everyone wants STUPID money for silver cores. Some as much as $4500 US, too rich for my blood!
