Acclimating new fish to my saltwater coral reef fish tank
Powder blue tang and yellow tang. Introduced to my 125 gallon and 35 gallon Saltwater coral reef fish tank. Gorgeous nice sized powder blue tang roughly 4"-5" big and thick and amazing colour. As well as the yellow tang. Very healthy looking and big. In this video I will be starting the drip acclimation for the fish to adjust to my tank water.
I placed the fish in the bucket and then started the 1/4" drip line hose by gravity feeding the hose into the bucket from my 125 gallon overflow box. You can slow down the drip acclimation by adding a valve to the hose or even make a knot in the hose line and it will also slow down the drip. My rule of thumb is roughly double the water volume and it should take roughly 30-60 minutes for this process to take place. In the mine time while I am waiting I may do a water change
