I've got a burning question for ya.

My cat seemed to learn to say 'Uh-gah' from me asking her if she was 'hungry' while I was standing near her feeding area.
I was thrilled about this, & I thought we had a clear understanding for a couple years. But ever more frequently she insists "Uh-gah.... uh-gah...." while looking up at me, but then wont want anything, even if I offer other special treats after she's uninterested in the first offering(s).
Have I been misunderstanding her meaning of this que?? Is she just wanting my attention? Is she possibly requesting a different food I havent figured out? She very clearly wants something from me, but what? Do you happen to notice a similar 'begging' call from your fluffies?
Obviously you dont have all the answers I want,
but it would be fantastic if you could give me a lil feedback on your intuition of the situation! Thanks in advance!
