Please just take time to teach them to don’t scratch! I have 2 cats they don’t scratch everywhere, as they know exactly where they are allowed to do it in their scratchers. Please take time for your cats and dogs.

We stopped doing this to our cats because without proper nails they are unable to climb up their scratch post/tree and can't reach their resting spots up high. They do need the exercise and they are also happier when they can nap up above where they feel safe.

these clippers often don't actually protect them well enough so you do still have to pay attention!!! also, don't expect them to work on their back paws.
