Many times when we try to copy or transfer large files more than 4GB to Pen Drives or USB Flash Drives, we get an error "File is too large for the destination file system." You simply can not transfer large files like more than 4GB to Pen Drives or USB Flash Drives.

The main reason for this error "File is too large for the destination file system" while transferring large files to the Pen Drive or USB Flash Drive is their File System Format. Which is generally FAT32 by default.
FAT32 file system only allows less than 4GB file to be transferred to Pen Drive or USB Flash drives. That's why it is important to change the file system of Your Pen Drive or USB Storage Drive to NTFS File System. As NTFS File System doesn't have any file size limit for transferring. 1. Right-click the Pen Drive from Devices with removable storage and click the "Format" option.
2. Here from option "File system" select NTFS
3. From option "Allocation Unit Size" select DEFAULT ALLOCATION SIZE.
Click on Start.
Now You can easily transfer files more than 4GB to Pen Drive or USB Flash Drive. This way You can easily fix File is too large for the destination file system.
