If anyone is STILL having issues after trying these "fixes".... undo everything this video has stated to do then try this instead. Please only reduce your security settings if my fix doesn't help. The problem is actually sometimes caused by limitations in windows itself. Quoting another source: (Under the Windows file naming system the total name/path cannot exceed 259 characters. This includes the entire folder path, file name and file extension) Simply put, your file's filename might be too long (This is especially true with torrented programs that end up unzipped into multiple sub-folders) TL;DR: Simply Rename the sub-folders for your downloaded application to something much shorter. It should install just fine now.

Works, you can find "Launching applications and unsafe files" very quickly by pressing "L" key 2 or 3 times, it will jump to the setting

It didn't work for me. All the options are already set to Prompt. But i solved the problem by moving the file to to Desktop. I was trying to install a crack .exe file from From there i was not able to install because of that error. Then i moved the .exe file to Desktop and after that i was able to install the file without getting error. Earlier i was not able to even after disabling Windows Defender.
