If you end the "explorer.exe" and everything goes black screen, incase you don't wanna get an a* whooping, press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC. Task Manager will open up, click on "File" below the Task Manager logo and then click "Run new task" and type "explorer.exe", hit enter then boom, its fixed.

Ik I’m late but if you ran it through cmd and it still won’t let you delete “which is the problem I had”. Literally just restart your computer. Not sure why but this worked for me and finally was able to delete a 12g file
