In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, we read that this relationship was God’s plan from the very beginning of time. Unlike the rest of His creation, the man and woman were created in the image of God.(Genesis 1:26-27) They would not merely be physical beings, for God created humans with a spiritual side capable of knowing and loving Him. In the same way, God wants you to know him, that's why He reveled Himself in His Word, the Bible.
