No matter whether you're a theist or an atheist, the "brother against brother, Nation against Nation" scene carries with it a strong message that I personally think hits the nail on the head.

I always believed for years that evolution and faith do not contradict each other at all. I never understood why we had to pick a side. This scene perfectly represents what I’ve been thinking the whole time.

Whilst Atheists and Religious Nuts battle it out with internet fights, I'm here thinking how great the direction of this scene is.

I still can't believe how close minded some people are. When I saw this movie, I thought religious and non-religious people will come to an understanding. For me, this is the most creative way of showing how the beginning really happen while still basing on both scientific theories and biblical writings. *Religions or beliefs doesn't start wars, narrow-minded people do.*

As a VFX artist, the sequence with the fish becoming reptile becoming mamal becoming ape and so on, with the background constantly cycling frame after frame, is one of the most beautifully executed and creative thing I've seen.

I like this sequence so much because it highlights how you can believe in a creator and evolution (and all scientific theory/knowledge) without conflict. Genesis was never meant to be taken literally and people who claim it was lack common sense IMO. If you believe in God, you know he gave you a working brain and wants you to use it. Jesus spent most of his time here on earth trying to get people to think OUTSIDE the box. The rest of the time he spent helping, healing, feeding us.. Even giving us wine for celebration
