I'll give you some tips.

1- Best relief is keeping ice cold water in your mouth specificaly wherever is most itchy. Huge relief!!!

2- Pick a side and pull them out from the inner-side of your mouth on your wisdom teeth, and it easily peels off of your teeth.

3- Try to keep ur upper and lower jaw seperated, the less ur trays touch each other, the less u feel ur teeth. I know it is kind of tough but by biting ur trays u make ur teeth and gum more alert and sensitive against pain. Not letting ur trays touch each other helps pretending that they r not there.

4- In my case, on the 4th day (after the 3rd day of teeth, jaw and head aches) I realized it started to cause more pain to not to have them on. So try to keep them on as long as u can.

5- Don't try to give your teeth a moment of relief by taking your trays out even for one second because your teeth lean more on going to where they were rather than stay where they r. So you would cause urself longer periods of pain in return of a second of relief.

Peace ✌️ I hope ur experience is less painful and annoying than mine.

She's adorable, this is great. I'm on tray 11 (at a different practice) and just got IPR. However, I have to disagree with the first point. Most patients underestimate how painful orthodontics can be. I really suffered in the beginning with facial pain and headaches. It's better now but was no joke. Really painful. But still better than traditional braces. Biggest tip I found on YouTube was to store trays in a cup or container of mouthwash when out of the mouth. Especially when at home, when you are eating or brushing, drop them in a cup of mouthwash.

If anyone is doubtful I’m just saying DO IT! Invest in yourself it’s worth it at the end. I’m halfway through and see major changes. Expensive but well worth it. Biggest con is not being able to snack much haha feel free to ask questions!!

She seems so neat and organized. I’m nervous about starting my treatment but I thought I might as well do it now while face masks are still in style. I hope it works

•Do not brush ur aligners with toothpaste bc it will turn yellow somehow..
•It's not painful, jus uncomfortable when being worn.

I just started my treatment today and that pain is all they said. I’ve had braces before but didn’t wear my retainer (this was around 4 years ago) so I paid the price and now have this

Thanks - this was nice & to-the-point! I had to sift through too many vlogs about first-hand experiences with Invisalign...but jeez...sometimes you just want the facts.

Also, an tip for you all that really works well for me, use those medical hand gloves while taking the trays out, it will help immensely with the grip and of course it's more sanitary.

I'm so glad I found this very educational and straight-to-the-point video about aligners. I'm getting my aligners placed tomorrow morning !! Super nervous and excited. I'm thinking maybe I should take a Tylenol before I go to my appointment, cause everyone is saying you may get a headache and such. All of my teeth have spaces and I do have a gap in the front as well. My orthodontist/dentist said " this is going to be a really good case", " but you have to wear your aligners like you're supposed to ." So I'm super excited. I'm tired of my gap and my spaced-out teeth. Thanks for this INFORMATIVE video !

couple of other things to note, if you have the attachments, they will be VERY rough and uncomfortable at first. Also, depending on where the attachments are, it's likely that you won't be able to fully close your mouth, which will make it fairly difficult to chew. Also, depending on where the attachments are, they can create some pretty serious pinch points, and the insides of your cheeks can be super susceptible to being bitten by the attachments. All in all, the attachments cause all of the problems haha.
