If the 7.8 for 0 to 60 it's true, I'm not worried anymore cause that 9.1s factory claims was worrying me. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with my new Swift sport. Thanks for your review.😊

I think ya need 2 sell Suzuki Swift Sports, your enthusiasm encourages people to buy and that is what I did! I just bought a black one! Looks stunning !

I'm watching this and salivating actually!! Got my eye on a couple 71/72 plates. Really nice to see that the hybrid is very underrated too - power-wise. (I watched your other vid with it on the dyno - flippin' amazing!!). When I do finally get it, I'm wondering whether to just remap it immediately on the way home 😀 Or wait a bit? Looks like fun either way!

And to be fair, I've had motors with proper speakers and subwoofer etc so I assumed the sounds (important to me), would be rubbish! But I was very surprised by the sound quality in a basic 1.2 SZ-L with only 4 speakers. So the extra two tweeters should be a little better than standard - not subwoofer quality of course - but nice for what it is..

Anyway, it's all about the drive!! Thanks again for the excellent review. Sold it nicely!! 👌👌👌

There's lots of evidence out there to suggest that the Swift Sport non-hybrid makes about 163 HP on 99-octane fuel. That puts it in the same ballpark as the 200 HP Mk8 Fiesta ST when it comes to power-to-weight. The Swift Sport non-hybrid being 975 Kg, whereas the Mk8 Fiesta ST is around 1, 250 Kg. Even if the non-hybrid version makes up to 10 HP less - it's still not that far away. I think it's the mid-gear grunt that makes it feel like the 200 HP hot hatches. The small high pressure turbo spins up fast and delivers strong mid-range grunt. In fact, Suzuki stated that the Swift Sport has one of the highest torque-to-weight figures in its class. Anyway, I have the non-hybrid version - sure feels similar to 200 HP hot hatches to me too. The handling is excellent too. That light weight agility at the nose of the car means that this car can be chucked in really hard. Love it!

Great review!! which basically convinced me to buy one a few weeks ago. I agree with everything you say about it, everytime I've driven it so far i don't want the journey to end because its that much fun 👍

I've had a 19 plate for a month coming from a 197 and also having a evo a long time ago the light weight you can really feel in the corners not to fussed about 0-60 was looking for a fun economical car, and haven't been disappointed, good kit in it as well which can all be switched off.

As a ZC33S owner myself i just have one thing to add to this: The back up camera is horrible. The image quality is good but the position of the camera being so low means it gets dirty very fast and is a pain to constantly wipe clean. This means that even though my car has a nice big screen with a camera feed on it i just ignore it and use my mirrors instead as if there was no camera.

Mine is a K14C (aka non hybrid) and it's tuned to 180hp/330nm and i love it :D

7.85 0-60 mph what would it be it like with a Re-map? be nice with a paddle shift auto option.

CTC in the UK, claim 150bhp standard if running 98 octane fuel
They might made for a good follow up.

Please note the warranty is actually only 3 years and 60000 miles. However if you have the vehicle serviced by a Suzuki dealer they will extend it to 7 years and miles.
I'm happy with my Swift Sport Hybrid, much more fun than a Vitara Allgrip!

Have the 140 hp 2018 love that one. Since its not available anymore I wonder how much worse the hybrid version is..?

Hi there, I drive the vitara hybrid with the same engine. Factory spec 0-60 feels much faster than the 9.5 mentioned. Could you also review the vitaraif you get the chance?

How would this car feel in terms of long term reliablity?
I mean, it has a direct injection + a turbo
Would you be better of with the n/a hybrid?

I have the ZC32 m16A engine with a pedal boost. Fastest time i've had 0-60 is 7.4 seconds and with it being non turbo the engine does have to be worked hard. I hope to step up to a zc33 but the 140hp version not the hybrid.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your review. We have just purchased this car 2023 in yellow it is for my wife $33, 500 (AUD) and looking forward to collecting it this coming weekend.

I am keen to feel how this car drives using the paddle shifters and with its sporty turbo it should be fun.

Personally I own the exact opposite a 1969 Pontiac GrandPrix 455 stroker it runs at about 12litres per 100km 👀 But Man O Man it’s a real luxury Muscle car for sure! (Yes, I am a crazy mad old school petrol head car lover).
Take CARe. Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺🤘🏻😎

Do the hybrids have boost issues like the first non hybrids?
