The Fourier series coefficients are easily determined when a signal is composed of sinusoids. The Euler expansion for any sinusoids is applied and then resulting expression is compared to the formula for the Fourier series to identify the coefficients.

what if sines and cosines are squared or cubed? do we find the period the same way and just multiply the exponents of euler form or should I use trigonometric transformations to make their exponents 1?
