I like it whenever a tutor introduces a topic by explaining whys instead of hows. Too many times students get lost in the mechanics of math before they appreciate the philosophy behind the actual concept

hence the reason why I left my third choice for a specialization, blank instead of filling it in with electrical engineering... it is amazing how much of what was incomprehensible back then, makes perfect sense now.. after all, I think the benefit of hindsight and the amount of time to revisit such topics has its place in revision

Folks at Khan; if someone wants to learn Fourier series, it is very difficult to find the right sequence of videos to go thru, with exception of the video labeled "introduction to Fourier" I struggled to follow from one video to another, also finding the sequence on the IOS app is so difficult as I couldn't find the player list itself

I search out this series of videos on Fourier series. Today's engineering must have knowledge. Before on board, it is better have knowledge of wave and complex number.

Can someone explain why the Fourier transform of the cosine and sine functions results in two impulses? Why do these two frequencies have infinite importance rather than just the same 'weight' as the breadth of the original function? Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian.
